Kenny,

Sorry, but I don't think it's a theme-related issue. Try using a different theme to see if the same issue happens. If same thing happens, perhaps you need to ask for a wordpress developer assistance to check your site and trace the issue.

Thanks,

Hi Andrew,

Try resizing the image first before uploading to the site. That perhaps would do the fix.
The reason behind is that the php script that does the thumbnail generation cannot generate thumbnails for very large images.

Thank you for the reply. Yes everything is working well now. I went ahead and removed Wordpress version 3.1.1 and installed version 3.0.
That appears to have resolved all of the issues I was having.

I am really enjoying the theme!

Hi WPTD Webmaster,

I have recently downloaded the your Inceptive Theme for my web hosting site. First off, Thank you for the fantastic theme! I really am impressed with the visual aspect and the back end functionality of the site.

I have run into a couple small issues while trying to setup the theme for my website. I am wondering if you may have some guidance as to what I may be doing wrong? I have reviewed the FAQ's provided in the theme and look through the forums, but still unsure why a couple features are not working for me.

1. I am trying to configure my first post for the slider on home page. The text and image are showing up fine, but I have also tried to add the "Learn More" and "Buy Now" buttons as shown in your Inceptive demo theme. Unfortunately, they are only showing up as text in the slide. They do not show as a link and they are not showing the button.gif for the background? They are both showing in the actual post that I've created, but not on the homepage slider. Any ideas?

2. When trying to upload images using the image uploader in Wordpress posts, nothing is happening. I click on the "upload image" icon, but the image loader is not popping up. I have tried in both IE and Firefox. I am not getting an error message, and nothing happens when I click the icon. Any ideas on this one?

If needed, the website is thewebsolutionsource.com

I really appreciate your time and help!
Chris

Hello! I really like this theme, but I have run into a problem now that I updated to 3.1. When I use this theme I cannot access Network Admin settings. I get this fatal error: Fatal error: Call to undefined function add_contextual_help() in /home/content/s/o/d/mywebdomain/html/wp-admin/network/settings.php on line 22

Everything is fine when I use Twentyten. What should I do?

Hi Meagan,

Yes it's possible. Try doing this:
1. Go to plugins > jquery-slider.php
2. Go to line 24 where there is query_posts().
3. Edit query_post to look like this:
query_posts("post_type=page&order=DESC");

Hope this helps,

Thanks for your response to my question. I have another one for you :) I am trying to split up some content on one of my pages using pagination. I inserted <!--nextpage--> where I need it to go, but it does not show up with this theme. It doesn't show any page numbers or next pages, nothing. I tried the theme Twenty Ten and it works. Have any ideas of what I can do? I really like this theme!

Hi!

Perhaps you have forgotten to setup the plugin. Go to Settings->WP Cumulus in the admin area and fill-up the fields. If you want it similar to the demo site, these are the settings:
Width of the Flash tag cloud: 270
Height of the Flash tag cloud: 250
Color of the tags: 404040
Optional second color for gradient: 404040
Optional highlighl color: 000000
Background color: ffffff

Lastly, don't forget to add tags on your posts. It will definitely show nothing if there no tags on post(s) exist.

Hope this helps,

Hi Michael,

Opening the file in Photoshop should work. I think you better try again.

If you are trying to edit the logo, I recommend you to:
1. download the PSD file at the members.
2. Edit the design of the logo in Photoshop.
3. Slice the dimension of the logo.
4. Save for Web. Make sure that the new logo file is in GIF format.
5. Replace the old logo file with the new one.

Hi Gabriel,

It's just the same with the Emperor Theme. All you have to do is to attach an uploaded image within the post. To be more specific here's how:

Using Media Library (This assumes that you have already created the post):
1. Go to Media Library->Add New.
2. Browse and select your image file then Save all changes.
3. At the Media Library area, find your image then click the "attach" link at the "Attached to" column.
4. Find the Post where you like to attach the image. That's it. Your image is now attached to the post, and it will be used in the slider and as thumbnail.

Within Post:
1. Go to Edit Post or Create a New Post.
2. Select the image "Add an Image" located above the content area.
3. Browse and select your image file then Save all changes. That's it.

If there's anything else, just let us know so we can help.

Hi John,

The logo in the header is not a text but an image. To change the logo, replace the logo.gif file in the images folder. You may download and use the PSD file so that your logo will have a similar design with the turnout mag logo.

Hope this helps,

The header of the theme as installed shows "Turn Out Mag" with a second line of "Premium Wordpress Magazine Theme".

This appears to be the blog name & description, but the header.php file only has an entry for blog name <?php bloginfo('name'); ?>

This is not picking up the blog name entered in the General settings of my blog.

The header.php does not appear to have an image file that would be putting the default text in the header.

Can you please let me know how I get the theme to show my blog name & description in the header?

Thanks.

Regards,
Jack

Thank you very much for your replay.

Yes, I am using Inceptive Theme on wordpress version 3.0.
That is a pity, but I love themes you designed.

I am looking forward to new your theme!

Hi Minori,

I think you are using wordpress version 3.0. Right? That's one of the latest features in Wordpress 3.0. We currently have not added that feature to our themes so that any version from 3.0 and below can work with our themes. We will add that feature when the current version gets very much stable on its new features.

Hope this helps,

Hello webmaster,

I can not change order of custom-menu by drag and drop at Appearance -> Menus.
Widgets works drag and drop perfectly, and any plugin is not installed.

Are there solutions of this problem?

Thank you.
