Hi John,

I saw what you mean. Have you changed anything else on the codes related to the slideshow? There are no expected bugs like this. The slideshow is expected to work well now. It could be on the codes you modified. Please check.

Hi John,

To link image to post:
1. GO to index.php and edit at line 24. On that line you will see
<?php dp_attachment_image(0, 'thumbnail', 'alt="' . $post->post_title . '"'); ?>
2. Change line to this:
< a href="<?php the_permalink(); ?>">
<?php dp_attachment_image(0, 'thumbnail', 'alt="' . $post->post_title . '"'); ?>
< /a>

*remove space between '<' and 'a', and '<' and '/'.

With regards to your featured article, I recommend you add another article to make it three featured posts. I think that will do the fix.

Hope these helps,

Hi John,

Just go to header.php and remove line 22 to line 28. That's from opening to closing of div with id=search. That will remove the search bar on top.

Hi John,

Here's the bug fix:
1. Go to featured.php at line 14
2. Replace below:
if ($first) echo ' class="first"';
with
echo (($first)? ' class="first"':' style="display:none"');

Hi Mio,

There are a lot of google map plugins but here's a simple plugin that you might want to try.
http://clarknikdelpowell.com/wordpress/simple-google-map/

To find your latitude and longitude you may use this page:
http://pagesperso-orange.fr/universimmedia/geo/loc.htm

Hi webmaster,

Thank you for your reply.
Here are the answers;
1. A google map to show our locations; with a flag on our location if possible
2. I currently have "Google Maps for WordPress" plug-in activated but anything without extra fee and advertizement would be fine if you have any other recommendations.
3. One of our "pages".

Please find our testing web at following location;
http://www.nit-development.co.uk/en/

Hi Mio,

Here are few questions that might help us in assisting you.

1. What kind of googlemap would you like to be added to your page?

2. What plugin would you like to use?

3. Where in specific would you like it be placed?

If you can provide us the URL of your website, that would also be good.

Hi Jim,

You have paid for the membership in our website and with that membership you have complete access to all our themes, resources and the support area. Before you paid, we showed you our User Agreement where it was stated that we don't give refunds. You already have access to all our themes both premium and standard and that would be unfair to us if you'd ask for a refund.

There is no perfect theme anywhere. It's your choice if you'll use our theme. You might have seen an issue with some of our themes but that doesn't get you a full refund. What we can offer you is a possible fix to the issue you saw. That is why we have a support area. We are thankful though that you raised the issue.

Sincerely,

But you only have two images in the slideshow for the pixdesign template. Try three and you might get a surprise. Mine works totally fine with only two, but freaks out every time I put three images or more in the slideshow. It won't work until it's been through the whole loop once.

Hi Jim,

We can't seem to find out the problem with your website. As you can see in our demo site, everything works well. Perhaps it could have been with your images. Are using large sized images? That can add up to the loading time.

We're definitely not sure with your issue. There are other themes to choose from. You might want to use our premium themes though. Thanks for the compliment with our designs.

I've spent nearly the whole day trying to get this thing to work... no luck so far. When I cut back to only two featured posts, it works every time and never messes up. As soon as I make three featured posts--no matter which three posts--it gets messed up. Check it out right now at http://www.improvephotography.com. I'm going crazy here.

Yes, it's happening now. I even deleted my posts and reposted them--making sure there was only one "featured image" for each post. No luck.

Hi Jim,

I saw you currently using the Aspire Magazine Theme.
Are you referring to the white background image below the footer?
To fix that, kindly go to the style.css and edit line 726. Change height from 94px to 84px.

With regards to the newsletter, there are actually plugins for this. Or you may also use Google's Feedburner at http://feedburner.com which is free. This was used in the sample I gave you (http://www.palissandre.biz). The next thing you do is go through the form and modify the fields.

With regards to featured images, I can't seem to see this. Does this happen right now to your website?

Hope these helps,

Ug.... maybe *not* last thing...

The featured images in the slideshow thingy aren't lining up. The text starts correctly lined up with the image for that post, but then it quickly gets off. It displays the text for one post with the image for another post. No idea why it's doing that. Any ideas?

One last thing... what happens when someone puts in their name and says subscribe to the newsletter? Is there a plugin that goes with that to make it work?

Hmmm.... interesting.

On my page at http://www.improvephotography.com, the "recent posts" at the bottom in the footer go too long and outside the box. How can I keep it from doing that?

Hi Jim,

The Pixdesign Theme was designed to display all the categories. If you want that to be changed, kindly go through the codes and edit accordingly. We highly recommend that you get a web developer for this customization.

With regards to the Logo, kindly download the PSD and customize the logo design from there. The PSD file can be downloaded at the members area.

If you'd like to hire a professional (for lease) that can help you in setting-up, create your logo, we recommend you email us at webmaster@wpthemedesigner.com.

You may also browse link below for a sample customization of pixdesign theme. http://www.palissandre.biz

Hope these helps,
