A lot of SEO blogs tend to use this kind of design so if I were in that field I might look for another one so as not to blend in too much.
Other than that I think it looks really nice. I just wish the color combination with this layout weren’t so commonly used in that area.

This is a nice theme, its simple yet sophisticated. The layout is nice in that it draws attention to the header photo first and then the articles.
