I’m in the same boat as you, though, you’re a few steps ahead of me, successfully . I’ve been interested in MMO blogs and I’m actually about to start my own in about a week.
I also do template designing (the majority being WP Themes) and thats where 90% of my income comes from.
I just have to figure out how I can do more in less time… just making one Theme usually takes me 4 or 5 days.

Ralph, depending on how long you spend each day, that is a pretty good amount of time! It takes me about 2 weeks to finish a designing and coding a theme if I work on it an hour a day.

Never enter make money online niche before you have stable income from your “online business”.

One of the reason is like this,
Would you believe in a beggars words saying that he can make big money by doing business? He is a beggar see the point there? Who would believe him?

But, I know we all have different opinion on this.
Some of my fellow bloggers friend indeed have started their own MMO blog. When I stress on my point to them, they “barked” back at me saying…

“I’m just sharing what I know…”

Fine… It’s the freedom of blogging…

I completely agree pangeran. i hate reading mmo blogs telling me what to do and how to earn and then ending up looking at their income report, $10 for a particular month. DUH?

the problem with other MMO bloggers, they preaching about making money online. But they earn nothing for themselves.

Some MMO blogs are really a pretense and are offering advice on things they don’t know.

Others are experienced Internet Marketers who have been successful and then started to teach.

In between, you have people who are learning and sharing what they learn and their progress. They share the mistakes they made, the successes they have. They share their experiences with different products and services and what they find workable for them.

I think the last two types of blogs can both be useful. In fact, if you only would visit blogs of successful entrepreneurs, you might miss out on some grass-roots viewpoints and experiences that you can also learn from. And there are points that successful Internet Marketers might overlook as they seem too obvious.

Hello!

I am one of those guys who makes money online and I think it is great that you are going to write about it. It was the whole reason that I started my Blog. I was getting so many people asking me HOW I did it, so I created a generic Blog so that I could pass on my marketing knowledge, which odly enough is pretty basic.

The thing about the internet is that there are SO many ways to make money online, and I work with several different companies, but what I find to be true is that no matter what you find, if you stick with it and you focus on ONE maybe TWO different things MAX you can find success easier.

Where I see people really fail is when they are involved with 20 different programs and are not making any money at all, when if they would focus on 1 or 2, they could at least make enough to stay home from a “JOB”.

That was my whole goal! Just initially make enough to come home full time and well, I have done that and now my goal is to make enough to move to Portland with my brothers and buy a nice home outside of the city.

If you have the desire..and you can commit you CAN make money online!

I am anxious to read your posts and see what you are suggesting!

@Rajaie Yeah, I’m only able to pump them out that fast because it’s currently summer vacation, so no school or work to clutter my time .

Starting a MMO blog may not be the best course of action for a newbie. There are tons of abandoned blogs I know about from people who just quit. It seems fun at first but when the money doesn’t come rolling in it is hard to stay motivated.

Yes – Making money online niche is one of the most competitive.

I think this is because there is so much information around.

Most of it though is the same !

I’m looking forward to that – though it’s pretty cut and dry – write good content, network w/bloggers, put up some affiliate links or ads, make money. Except it’s not that easy, lol.
