Reasons Why I Like Entrecard!

Erm, first off, this isn’t a sponsored post or anything similar. I just want to list the reasons why I like Entrecard and how we can actually use this Widget to our advantage.
1. Use Entrecard for Branding Purposes – consistent Visibility is essential in Branding your Website. Your logo clearly serves as your Online Business Card thus you can use it (logo) as your Entrecard Image for instant recognition.
2. Traffic – We all know Entrecard brings in heavy traffic. hands down* These droppers are usually coming from fastdrops.com, entrecard credit generator by thegermz.com, entrecard drop list and tysblog.com entrecard dropping script. So make sure you get to add your sites to them.
3. Free Inbound Link – Most websites whose owners are Entrecard fanatics do take time to feature their top 10 entrecard droppers to return the dropping gesture. You get a free one-way link in return! Aint that cool?
4. Earn Money from your Entrecard Credits – There is a big demand for Entrecard Credits, therefore you can earn money selling ‘em. I’ve seen 1000 EC’s being sold for $3 and $10,000 EC’s being sold for $30.
5. Use your Entrecard Credits to Sponsor a Contest – Sponsoring contests can really be beneficial. You get the chance to increase your backlinks and traffic. But what if you don’t have any dough, service or product to offer? Then simply give away Entrecard Credits!
6. Networking – Log in to your Entrecard Account and click “Campaign”. You will see all blogs registered to Entrecard by Category. Just click on your Niche and start networking! Whether you want to exchange links, comment on blogs for quality backlinks or simply get in touch with other webmasters.
7. Purchase using Entrecard Credits – Log in to your Entrecard Account and click “Shop”, this section gives you a chance to purchase stuff they have listed using your EC Credits. You get to buy domain names, books, upgrades, advertising space and more!
8. Free 125×125 Advertising – If it isn’t that obvious yet, the Entrecard widget is certainly a free 125×125 Banner Ad Advertising! Some websites even place their Entrecard Widget Above the fold! You do not have to spend too much just to advertise your site. Also, if you have always wanted to have a banner on johnchow.com / problogger.net but do not have the resources then this is your big chance!
9. Take Advantage of Entrecard’s Partnerships – Recently Entrecard announced their partnership with SezWho. They encouraged their members to use this tool to drive useful comments to their sites! I believe this is only the beginning and Entrecard will have more useful tools and services that we members can avail of in the future.
10. Discover Awesome Websites! – Since joining Entrecard, I have added more links to my bookmarks folder. Most of the sites I have discovered have either come from the index page of the Entrecard Website (just look on the left side where it says, “Members’ recent posts“, there are topic titles there that I just can’t help but click) and from clicking through banners shown in the widget (make sure your image or tagline is inviting enough to catch some attention).

I also love entrecard.. aside from traffic I enjoy dropping cards to those sites who dropped cards on my blog.. sadly I can’t drop on some of the site who do not have the EC widget on their site..

For me, I think it is the networking hands down. I have met some really awesome bloggers through entrecard I never would have met or found otherwise!!

I like Entrecard because it enabled you to network with other bloggers and you are able to find other bloggers through these blogs. For example, I found wpthemedesigner by wanting to check out who had made the theme that was being used by a fellow entrecard member. And it brought me here to WPTD

wow.. how we can sell our credit? I have 3k credit and I confused what should I do with that. I want to promote my new blog but still confused. Btw nice entredrop site list ^^

Definitely like Entrecard, but cannot say I am for their association with SezWho which frankly in my opinion sucks big time. Other than that Entrecard is a great way to discover new blogs, network with fellow niche bloggers and also advertise your own blog.

Can’t be more agree with you, Chiq. I love Entrecard especially for the awesome traffic that it brought to my blogs. It’s an easy way out to get traffic/visitors for a desperate new blog. Second to that is, I discover other great sites that I do enjoy reading.

I have not yet tried out entrecards. I will try it out only if someone is kind enough to donate 1000s of credits to me or I win some in any contest. I am not much interested in it.

These are some great reasons, and why I like entrecard too! I never knew that you could buy the things from the entreshop with ec’s, I thought that was only money.

I enjoy the traffic from Entrecard, too.
However, your article illustrates the very problem with the site — the sites you linked to brag about “getting 300 clicks in 5 minutes!” and such like. That’s great, but if everyone does just that, who’s stopping to read anything?
As it is, I could probably post photographic proof that Elvis is still alive and maybe 2 percent of the hundreds of people who hit my blog would see it.
Still, the traffic is great. There’s no denying that…

Entrecard has got me hooked I have to admit. Thing is, I use it to find people that I can network with. The EC economy can be used for both good and bad I suppose, but I noticed a recent post on their site notifying that all “Quick Link” lists and list users will be banned. That’s a good sign that Entrecard is trying to keep up with the hassles involved.

Yes, I love the traffic which Entrecard brings. There are some serious users who really read and comment on blogs.
My only grouse is the Entrecard server is always running into trouble.

The only thing I hate about Entrecard is the high bounce rate it bring. EC droppers are just drop & go. I’ve read on some blogs, that they are opening more than 30 tabs at times just to drop their EC.
So where is the quality there?

i love entrecard too. but i can’t use it at my new blog. for your info, i just made my third blog but this time i use wordpress instead of blogger. i made one entrecard for my new wordpress blog but now my account has been deleted because they say wordpress doesn’t support entrecard. is there any alternative for me to use entrecard with my new wordpress blog?

Entrecard is quiet a powerful tool. You have total editorial control. And earning credits is as easy as posting blog entries.

I like entrecard too..it’s really boost our visitor…but does anyone know, I have registered entrecard for my other blog couple days…but ’till today they dont give me any confirmation…
