I am new to WordPress and thanks for sharing this news. I am really looking into making some theme my self. Do you have any suggestion for that?

Hey Agent,
wpdesigner.com has a great tutorial for that. You have to dig into the archives though
You could also try a framework theme like wpthemerkit.com

I was one of the ones who didn’t know this news! I guess I am glad to hear it, but I did enjoy the old directory. Hopefully the good themes will be easier to find.

Have you uploaded any theme to WP Theme directory ? There are a few themes in directory now
